Double Entendre - Blue Moon Full Moon

Blue Moon Full Moon is one of three designs in the Double Entendre Series. A “double entendre” is a word, phrase or expression that has two meanings, where one meaning is usually straightforward and the other is often humorous, suggestive, ironic or risqué. This design blends a blue moon and full moon together by thread and needle to create a funny, yet visually appealing piece. 

This design is considered DIFFICULT primarily because there are numerous half stitches. Half stitches in and of themselves are easy to do. However, the stitcher often has to "train the stitch" to make it work successfully for the design to look right. This kit is offered in three different fabric sizes from which you can choose: 14 count, 18 count, and 28 count. As always, 14 count is the easiest and 28 count is much harder. 

The finished pieces are as follows: 14 count - 8.5" x 10.5"; 18 count - 6.5" x 8; and, 28 count - 4" x 5". The fabric included also adds 3.5" on all sides to allow for finishing. 

The kit includes the fabric count size you choose, all the thread (plus additional if needed), a needle, instructions and beeswax for thread prep.
